University of York Labour Club (UYLC)

Description

We're a group of left wing students who subscribe to the Labour Party's general aims and objectives. We meet once a week (Mondays) to discuss and further these aims, and have an open debate every other meeting, on a subject that the club chooses. We also have socials, and regularly go campaigning. We've been leafleting and canvassing with the local Party, delivering an increased majority for Rachael Maskell in York Central, turning York Outer into a marginal and electing a Labour councillor for the university ward.

We also get involved in on-campus campaigns!
