Description

Squash is a fast paced racquet sport played inside a four-walled court with a small, hollow rubber ball. Such is the high intensity of the sport players can burn up 1000 calories per hour - more than any other sport!

The Squash club welcomes players of all abilities, whether you are a complete beginner or have been coached from a young age. We have social sessions on Thursday's 5-7pm and Saturday's 11am-1pm for those wanting to learn the basics or have a knock about in a not so serious environment.

There are plenty of opportunities for those wanting to play in the uni team, we have 2 Men's teams and 1 Women's team in both BUCS and the York & District Local League. On top of this, there is also a Development Squad for players not quite in the team to improve their game and hopefully make the team in future years.
