Description

About the club: Darts is one of York's most successful and fast-growing sport clubs, welcoming both beginners and players of the highest standard. A variety of weekly tournaments are held to help members gain match practice and move up the university rankings. College darts creates a more relaxed atmosphere for teams to have fun whilst maintaining a friendly competitive edge. The club also enjoys trips to darting events and exhibitions such as a night at the PDC Premier League. Our teams' successes: The 1st's reached the finals in both the regional and national university competitions last year as well as beating Lancaster at Roses. 2014/2015 also saw York continue to raise the bar by being the first university to enter a female only team to the national competition as well as entering a 2nd's team to the regionals. Our commitment towards inclusivity has extended this year to disability darts. The club have purchased a rotating stand that allows somebody in a wheelchair to play somebody who is not in a wheelchair.

We welcome players from all backgrounds and abilities and we can't wait to welcome you to our successful and friendly club!
