The University of York Cycling Club is open to students of all skill levels. We aim to encourage all aspects of cycling, be that leisure riding or racing. If you fancy some mountain biking we also offer trips out to Dalby forest and other mountain bike hotspots! There are plenty of local races for those roadies who like racing, as well as BUCS national events for Road and Downhill disciplines. We are a friendly, active club always looking for new members who enjoy cycling and socialising.
Rides start from outside the Roger Kirk Centre, James College, every Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday.
Wednesday - Generally a shorter ride for all disciplines & abilities, meeting at 2pm.
Saturday - Longer rides, again for all disciplines, meeting at 9am. Often with a cafe stop!
Sunday- Our leisure days, meeting at 12pm for a relaxed ride.
President - Charlie Langford
Secretary - Mark Ellwood
Treasurer - Harry Edwards
