The University of York Cryptocurrency Society provides an environment to discuss and learn about cryptocurrencies and anything related, including blockchain technology, the differences between the currencies and how it all works. It's a great opportunity to learn somethings new in a friendly environment.
Joining will help improve your employability, both by giving you a desirable topic to talk about with employers and also allow you to improve your networking, communication and oratory skills by holding optional talks to the rest of the society if you wish.

Meeting Days, Times and Venue
We will teach you the basics about cryptocurrencies and how they work, and also allow those with an existing interest to develop this further by learning from each and networking with others interested in the cryptocurrency space.
We hope to bring external speakers in to discuss their points of view, whether positive or negative, to provide members with alternative opinions and networking opportunities.
