Archery

We are a vibrant and busy club, welcoming new and experienced archers alike. There's no better time to get into archery than university with membership costing nearly 1/5 of what you'd expect to pay at a non-university club! We run regular sessions where both casual and more serious archers can hone their skills three times a week. We are located on the Heslington West campus of the University of York and currently shoot at two locations. Indoors we shoot in the sports hall which is inside the sports centre near James College, outdoors we shoot on 22 acres (summer term only). We compete regularly around the North of England and semi-regularly in national competitions. No experience is nessecary as our nationally recognised coaches will put you through a beginners course and have you performing like Robin Hood in no time. We do also accept alumni and associate members - please contact us on archery@yusu.org for more information.
