The Entertainments Officer is responsible for coordinating and promoting the entertainments programme of the Union, working with the Marketing Team, the Full-time Officers and Colleges to ensure events are widely publicised, well run and reflect the needs of the diversity of the student body. To this end, the Entertainments Officer shall:

Main Responsibilities

• Convene and chair the Entertainments Committee;
• Bring forward recommendations from the Entertainments Committee to the Marketing Team as required, and vice versa;
• Liaise with relevant staff, Officers and the student media to ensure that all events are well publicised to all students, organising members of the Entertainments Committee to assist with publicity when necessary;
• Liaise with relevant staff to ensure research is conducted into the needs and preferences of members both before and after major events are held;
• Contribute to the Community Assembly Committee.
