Assemblies
YUSU has four Assemblies where most of the Ideas that members submit are discussed. Assemblies are opportunities to bring together a range of ordinary students as well as elected officers and other representatives to discuss and decide how all students at York can get the most out of their time at university. The meetings can be fun and interactive, drawing upon the views and suggestions of everyone who attends to plan for a better Union, a better University and a better world beyond.
Each Assembly has an independent chairperson to hold officers to account and anyone who attends can ask questions about the progress of actions mandated to the committee. Assemblies are a vital part of being a democratic, member-led organisation, so please take the opportunity to get involved.
