Hello! I’m Bob, and I’m your Welfare Officer, which means that I am here to make sure that you have the easiest and most problem-free time at uni possible. Whether it’s financial worries, accommodation, sexual and mental health, childcare facilities, or anything else that can affect your wellbeing, such as stress and anxiety, I’m here to help.
I work closely with the confidential listening service Nightline, the college welfare teams, the liberation officers (Racial Equality, Women’s, LGBT and Disabled Students), Open Door (the on-campus counselling service), Mature, Graduate and International Students Associations, as well as many other groups to make sure that students are represented at the highest level and are receiving the best support possible. If you have any worries or any queries at all, feel free to drop me an email or come and find me, and I am more than happy to help!
