Sport Participation Manager
Full time position for an initial 3 years
£24,520PA + Contributory pension scheme
Following a successful Sport England funding bid, the University of York Students’ Union (YUSU) is creating a new position to manage sport participation and deliver excellent support and inter-collegiate sport activities.
The role is mainly hands-on but involves a strategic approach to its operation to fulfil the overall objectives set in the business plan for sport participation at the University.
You will have:
- a proven track record of delivering quality sport and recreation
- been educated to degree level or equivalent
- strong influencing and persuasion skills
- experience of working with students and volunteers
- sound knowledge of the higher education sector
- managed a diverse range of activities
- experience of strategic planning and change processes
