Racial Equality

YUSU's Racial Equality Officers Mike and Ish say: "We’re here to strengthen the relations between students in the University, from all beliefs and backgrounds. We collaborate with students, societies and various student networks, to work across differences and draw from each others strengths. We encourage mentoring and training by sharing resources through a student in schools scheme so those with expertise can in turn mentor and train others. We promote understanding through a wide range of intercultural activities, increase awareness and appreciate all University Of York students and the impact they have on the University as both local and global citizens."
