Sexual Health

One of our roles as LGBT Officers is to provide LGBT students' with sexual health support. If you have any queries email us at lgbt@yusu.org.  

We as LGBT Officers and YUSU's Academic and Welfare Officer can give you all sorts of useful sexual health resources, including:

  • Condoms
  • Non-latex Condoms 
  • Dental Dams
  • Pregnancy Tests
  • Chlamydia Tests 

 

There's also lots of support and resources availible in York.

Yorkshire Mesmac

Yorkshire Mesmac is a Yorkshire sexual health charity that works with gay and bisexual men. Their website contains loads of really useful information about gay and bisexual men's sexual health. They also provide free condoms confidentially in the post. Or you can drop-in at their office in town. Check out their website for more info.

Monkgate GUM Clinic

This is York's sexual health clinic, who can provide you with any information you need, and tests and treatment for sexually transmitted infections.
