Query
Hello, we are Query (mind the pun) York's sexuality and gender related political, debate, and cultural society. That's a bit of a mouthful so think of us basically as LGBT Social's pretentious little brother! We offer film-nights, debates, coffee meetings, the odd life-drawing class, and much more besides. Our aim is to compliment rather than compete with LGBT Social - indeed most of our membership are part of both societies.
Together LGBT Social and Query offer a full-range of LGBT orientated events to cater for most tastes. As well as hosting weekly events and meetings, Query help produce leaflets and literature on relevant LGBT topics, get involved with current action campaigns and make sure LGBT issues are very much on the university's agenda. We're still a relatively young society having only been around for a year but we have a lot of potential and with your help and enthusiasm we can build on our past successes.
