Right To Choose Fund
A large part of the welfare budget is made up of the Right to Choose Fund, which covers two main areas.
1) The Childcare Fund, designed to help students at York with their childcare costs. If you are a student parent and would like to apply then please keep all childcare receipts and collect a form from the Academic and Welfare Officer.
2) The abortion fund: if you're unable to get an abortion on the NHS then YUSU can help provide the money for an abortion. For more information please see the Academic and Welfare Officer.
