One of the huge benefits of being at York is that you get the chance to meet people from all over the University and really get a taste for what York has to offer through YUSU events and societies - but you also integrate into your local community that you live in at the events your college Junior Common Room Committees organise.

In times when there isn’t a university wide YUSU event going on you’ll find that your college has organised a wide variety of daytime and evening activities, usually with many different options. You’ll find details about timing, contact details and how to get tickets for each of these at the following sites. As soon as you receive your accommodation offer you should be notified of which college you’re in and you’ll know which site to visit.
