Welcome to RAG
RAG stands for Raising And Giving, and is the charities committee under YUSU. Most universities around the country have RAG, and thank goodness they do because RAG offers students some fantastic opportunities, all whilst raising money for very worthwhile causes. Brilliant!
RAG at York has over 2000 members, making it the biggest campus based society. Students can get involved to varying degrees – by simply turning up to events and partying with us, or by attending weekly committee meetings and helping to host those events! Not only does RAG party, it hosts Woodstock (our annual campus music festival) on campus, raids around the country, hitches around Europe, to mention but a few.... And did we mention RAG is completely free to join?!
