Projects With Kids
MEG
MEG—the Music Education Group—is part of Student Action, the volunteering section of the Students’ Union at the University of York. We work mainly with children and young people to bring them new musical opportunities. This includes running music workshops in primary and secondary schools; inviting school groups onto campus to take part in large-scale musical events, and visiting the children’s ward in York hospital. We also work with a dementia project called Minds in Motion.
