Union General Meeting (12th Jun 2007)

IF YOU VOTE YES, YOUR LIFE COULD BE BETTER

Proposed by: UNION SENATE

Seconded by: UNION SENATE

This union notes:

(i) The Constitution.

This union believes:

(i) That following last year’s substantial changes to the Constitution minor adjustments are needed to help the workings of the Union.
(ii) That as a Students’ Union we currently have no formal way of working with Board of Studies Representatives.
(iii) Our support of Trans gender issues are not currently as well supported as sexuality issues.

This union resolves:

(i) To revoke all previous Constitutions of the Students’ Union.
(ii) To pass the Constitution passed by Union Senate on 30 May 2007 and attached to this motion (viewable online here as a PDF document).
