The inaugural White Rose Varsity matches the finest athletes the universities of York and Hull have to offer.
The Hull York Medical School provides a strong link between the two established institutions. With more sports, more fixtures and more participants, this year’s take on Varsity proves to be the biggest ever!
Sports such as Ultimate Frisbee, Lacrosse, Snow Sports and Ice Hockey are making an appearance for the first time.

There are plenty of options to keep you entertained on Saturday evening. Derwent JCRC will be hosting a ‘Club D presents back 2 school’ late licence event, the ISA are offering a night of culture with the Fiesta after party in the Roger Kirk Centre and for a more relaxing evening head down to The Courtyard for special food and drink promotions!
Closing Ceremony

Come along to The Courtyard at 6pm for a complimentary drinks reception; see an impressive performance by York Sport’s Caparoia club, weekend awards announced and the overall tournament winner will be presented with the White Rose trophy.

Vodka Revolution will host the official Varsity after party from 10pm-3am. Themed with black and gold this is your chance to celebrate the sporting weekend with all the teams, and bespoke drink deals! Qjumps are available to buy at the Pavilion on 22 acres on Saturday and Sunday or from the Courtyard.
