Beginner Days

The first beginners' day of the new year was on Wednesday Week 2 (18th October)

Beginners' days are usually run every Saturday from week 3 of Summer term, and also on some dates in the Autumn and Spring terms. Details are sent out to the club via email so please sign up to the email list.

All the information you need is sent out via email but here is a quick summary of the costs and what is included:

• • Day organised by RYA qualified instructors
  • Hire of kit: wetsuit and buoyancy aid
  • Access to our fleet of 7 Laser 2 boats
  • BBQ lunch (Summer Term Only)
  • Travel to and from campus

Each trip - £4 (Summer Term: £6)

Beginner days are open to people of all abilites, as we have instructors who specialise in teaching those new to sailing, as well as a wealth of racing experence. This covers 29ers, 420s, Lasers and Laser Radials at club, national and international level.

So whether its to try out a new sport or improve your racing we cater for everyone with a friendly attitude.
