Welcome to RAG

Hello! We are RAG - raising and giving - the charitable fundraising part of the Student's Union. We raise money in heaps of fun ways and give it to the charities that you vote for.  So how can you get involved? ***What is going on this term?***

  • Changing beneficiaries:

You can nominate charities for RAG to support next year! Deadline to nominate a charity is 4pm on Friday week 10. For details visit yusu.org/ragbeneficiaries or email ragcharities@yusu.org.

  • Volunteering and charities evening:

Ever fundraised for charity at university? Ever volunteered? Want to get more involved? Come and join us to celebrate at Kennedy's Monday week 9 for a buffet (£6) or just come for drinks where we will have awards ... and a jolly good time! Give your lovely RAG ents girls (Hannah, Holly and Anna) an email at ragents@yusu.org if you would like to come - everyone is welcome!

  • York's got talent:

Join in the RAG fun and prove YOUR college has talent by taking part in your college's heat of York's got talent:
Only Alcuin left...

Alcuin's got talent - Friday Week 8 at BHenrys 7-11pm. email Jasmine, Katy and Callum at ragalcuin if you want to join in the fun! Winners will get to perform at Woodstock!

  • Woodstock and Junk shop:

Saturday week 9

Junk shop - The Woodstock after-party. Why go home at 12 when you can party till 2? Party on down afterwards in the Courtyard until 2am for even more fun and frolics.   • RAG hitch to Amsterdam:

Was a storming success last weekend (week 7)!
 

  • Trip to Blackpool:

On Saturday week 7 we went to Blackpool to collect for Breast cancer. Everyone had a really fun day trip ad enjoyed the sunshine!
