Welcome to RAG

RAG stands for Raising and Giving. RAGs exist at universities across the country as student-run fundraising societies, which organise a wide range of exhilarating events to raise money for local and national charities.

RAG is the biggest society on campus with over 2000 members. RAG aims to offer students the opportunity to get involved in diverse events and experience things they may never otherwise do, all whilst raising much needed financial support and awareness for good causes.

Your involvement in RAG could vary from simply attending an event or taking part in a sponsored activity, to helping organise an event, or even taking the decision to take up a position on the RAG Committee. Whatever you do and however you choose to get involved in RAG, you can be sure your experience will form a valuable part of your university life. It’s a fantastic way to make friends, a wonderful way to make a valuable contribution to the community outside the university and, as much as anything, it’s a really fun thing to be part of…oh, and did we mention, it’s completely free?!
