Atheist, Secularist & Humanist Society - SecSoc

The Atheist, Secularist & Humanist Society (Sec Soc) is a society promoting secularism, freethinking, reason, scientific literacy, open debate and unfettered free speech. The society aims to provide a space in the University where non-believers can meet like-minded people interested in the above mentioned areas as well a providing links to the wider AHS communities across the UK.

Sec Soc caters for and appeals to the argumentative natures of believers and non believers alike; welcoming skeptics, agnostics, Free-thinkers, contrarians, apostates, Jedi, Pastafarians, heretics and heathens. Anyone with more questions than answers is welcome!

The society will hopefully be providing it's members with regular events including debates, discussions, guest speakers and campaigning for the separation of church and state.
