E-tickets

Created: 17/06/2009. Updated: 02/08/2011.

What are e-tickets?

Event tickets that are sold online. Instead of picking up a pre-printed ticket, you will receive an e-ticket (electronic ticket) as part of your purchase receipt, which is sent to you via email.

How do I use the e-ticket?

Unless told otherwise, please print out your e-ticket and bring it with you to gain entry to the event. Please also see our Ticket Terms & Conditions.

What emails should I receive?

When purchasing your event tickets online, you should receive two emails. Once is a receipt from RBS Worldpay, the other is a YUSU Purchase Receipt which contains your e-tickets.

What if I don't receive any email?

If you haven't received *either* email, you might have mistyped your email address during the payment process. Please contact itcoordinator@yusu.org to have your receipt resent (this also applies if you received the receipt email, but have since deleted it). Unfortunately we cannot resend RBS Worldpay receipts.

Please note: Union office hours are Monday to Friday, so if these enquiries are sent over a weekend we cannot respond to them until the following Monday at the earliest.

Why do I have to pay a booking fee?

Online booking fees cover the cost of processing your payment online.

How much are the booking fees?

Current online booking fees are as follows:

  • £0.50 for tickets costing less than £10.00
  • £0.75 for tickets costing from £10.00 to £19.99
  • £1.00 for tickets costing £20.00, or more.
