Risk Assessment
Our Student Activities Safety Worker (see Union Staff) will write your Risk Assessment prior to your event. In order for her to do this you MUST meet her and let her know the activities that you will be carrying out. Every event is different and (particularly if you are having bands or other acts) you’ll need to read your risk assessment carefully.
Request your Risk Assessment at least one week in advance. Jill will go through this with you, and then you sign your copy in her presence. You have to ensure that the Risk Assessment is available for anyone to view during the event, so keep it safe. Make sure you attend Ents Committee prior to your event so that we may discuss any problems.
First Aid
Every late-license event must have a first aider on duty. You must let us know who that is at the Ents Committee prior to your event. You can book First Aid cover from Links (our campus society affiliated with St John’s Ambulance) hereLast Updated: 7:06pm on 8th Sep, 2007 by Matt Burton
