Welfare Committee
Welfare Committee must meet at least three times a term and its role is to:
a) promote welfare provision for the Union’s membership
b) organise welfare services and campaigns
c) liaise with external organisations on welfare matters
Membership of Welfare Committee is as follows:
a) Academic & Welfare Officer (Chair)
b) Disability Officer(s)
c) Policy and Campaigns Officer(s)
d) a representative elected by the Graduate Students Association
e) Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Trans Officer(s)
f) each LGBT Representative of the Junior or Graduate Common Room Committee with the greatest number of members in each college or their appointed representative
g) a representative from Nightline
h) three ordinary members
i) the Overseas Student Association Welfare Representative
j) Racial Equality Officer(s)
k) each Welfare Representative of the Junior or Graduate Common Room Committee with the greatest number of members in each college or their appointed representative
l) the Women’s Officer(s)
