I also help Student Action run weekly projects working with children, the elderly and in community projects, and the highlight of the year being Kid’s Camp. I also deal with every other student group in the Union that deals with volunteering and charities. If you want to get involved and there isn’t anything you fancy, come into the office or drop me an e-mail… |

It is my job to address the requirements of all current clubs and members, and to play a central role in the development of new facilities and new opportunities for the Athletic Union. Basically if you want to know anything about sport, I’ll help you out. |
Policy & Campaigns Officer - Tom Langrish & Michael BatulaE-mail: polcampaigns@yusu.orgWe’re here to ensure that your Students’ Union acts on the things that concern you as students, by organising campaigns on everything from recycling provision on campus and the university’s investments in the arms trade, to national issues such as top-up fees; and also chairing YUSU Senate to ensure that the Union acts in accordance with the policy chosen by the students. (It’s more exciting than it sounds…actually, no, that’s a lie.) But our existence is pointless if students don’t get their voice heard at UGMs, so make sure you get involved – contact us or the President to find out how! |
