Rules Committee
Rules Committee’s role is to:
a) review this Constitution and recommend changes
b) advise the Executive Committee, Returning Officers in Union elections and Union Committee/GM Chairs on the meaning of these rules
c) approve the suitability for motions to debate at GM’s in accordance with this Constitution
d) order ordinary motions for the agenda paper of GMs
The membership of Rules Committee is as follows:
a) a Sabbatical Officer appointed by the Executive Committee (Chair)
b) President
c) 5 Ordinary Members (elected by a cross-campus ballot)
d) 3 members of Senate (elected in the first meeting of Senate in the summer term)
