Jolene oversees the day to day running of the Students’ Union and provides support to Union Officers and Committees as required.

Fiona is the Senior Secretary and co-ordinates the staff to ensure smooth running of the General Office, Athletic Union and Reception area. Fiona also organises the maintenance of Union vehicles and books out the vehicles for Societies trips as required. Fiona also co-ordinates the production of minutes for committees and Union General Meetings and ensures they are available on the website.

Pauline manages the Union’s finance department to provide financial information for Officers, clubs and societies and all the trading areas. She also ensures that proper financial controls are in place and can answer questions regarding finance, VAT, payroll and most other financial issues.

Gwen manages YUSU Marketing providing a source of Union income and a marketing service for Student Union activities. Gwen works closely with Union Officers to co-ordinate YUSU publications and promotions.

Mel works as part of the Students’ Union Academic and Welfare team providing students with information, advocacy, advice and assistance on a wide range of issues particularly Academic Appeals and Disciplinary Procedures.

Any regulations regarding the possibility of danger and Peter is on the case. Entrusted to keep abreast with Health and Safety legislation, he ensures that we remain covered by our insurance, and does his best to raise awareness to make sure students take safety seriously! This includes PAT testing electrical equipment, outlining the proper usage of vehicles, collating risk assessments and much more..

The Events Co-ordinator assists with the arranging and running of Union events, and provides support to societies, clubs and colleges holding events on campus. Compiles and edits Daily Info on the web.

Maria assists the Student Development and Charities Officer in providing volunteering opportunities for students within Student Action projects.

Lisa (mornings) and Carol (afternoons) are the first point of contact, providing a friendly reception for all callers and contacts to the Student Centre. They assist in the day-to-day running of the Students’ Union General Office and issues NUS cards amongst many other tasks.

Liz operates Your:Print, and helps callers with their print requirements. Liz gives guidance on a range of printing services, both colour and black and white, along with collating, binding and laminating services.

Gill is normally the first point of contact with the YUSU AU for both members and external organisations. Gill assists the AU by ensuring that workloads and requests are properly directed to the AU Exec and Adele.
Gill works closely with the AU secretary to mange membership information, and guarantees that policy regarding information is adhered to.

David works to manage all aspects of the sporting years' fixture program, and arranges transport to and from fixtures for all clubs. He is responsible for working with the sports centre to ensure facilities are available to clubs for matches, and along with the President is the contact in the Union to BUSA

John manages Your:Shop in Market Square which provides a source of Union income to reinvest into services for students. John makes sure that the shop makes a profit whilst providing retail services for the University community.

The Ents Tech Managers look after the day to day running of our Ents Tech (Technical) department and ensure that all equipment is in working order. They also provide training to new recruits and provide the sound, lighting and staging at Campus, and major events.

The Doorsafe Manager role is to ensure that adequate provision of SIA trained persons are on hand and able to ensure the safety of events held on campus - and protect the license of the University.
