Become A Course Rep
BECOME A COURSE REP...
For students to be represented effectively within departments, we rely on enthusiastic volunteers standing for election to become a Course Rep. This is not as daunting as it sounds - many people find it is a great way to meet new people and get a feel for their department.
Elections for reps are held in the Autumn Term, in line with the timetable on the right.

OTHER WAYS TO GET INVOLVED:
Outside of the election period, you can contact your department to find out if there are any vacancies that have arisen in the meantime which you may be able to fill until the next elections are held.
You can also get involved with representation at a more informal level by finding out about the Student-Staff Forum or equivalent within your department. These are often referred to as Student Staff Liaison Committees and are an excellent opportunity to raise student issues, contribute to the department community and talk to senior academics.
