"Weekly Info", Spring Week 8: Elections, an Ethical Investment Policy
This isn't going to be the regular, amusing weekly blog, I'm afraid - I have scarcely any time, but I'd stil like to update you on what I've been up to this week.
I've been the Returning Officer for elections, dealing with hundreds of emails, calls and messages - there have been near-daily updates on how that's going. Hustings was successful too - even though, thanks to a recent wisdom tooth extraction, it was something of a painful experience for me.
I've also been preparing for tomorrow's University Council, in which the Ethical Investment Policy will be up for approval - I've been working with the Environment and Ethics Officers and the GSA President to get everything sorted and ready.
I'm absolutely rushed off my feet, but you know what? This is what I signed up for. In eight days' time, you'll know who else has signed up for it too.
