Coming soon... the Courtyard
So, a new year, a new venue coming soon to campus..
The date has been set: Sat 17th January. Time: 9pm. Location: Langwith College.
We’re busy beavering away with the final touches, the shelves will start filling up soon..
We’ve some new members of staff who are heading up the Courtyard: Laurie Smith is the new Manager, leading the project and day to day operation. Kevin Dixon is the chef, who will dazzle you with his spectacular dishes.
The outside area is FANTASTIC! The last few bits of lighting are going in, so the whole area comes to life on an evening.
Wireless access points are starting to appear and cover the whole area, providing the best coverage on campus.
The till system is in.. and we have a special treat for you that we can’t announce just yet.
I was playing with the new plasma screens yesterday.. I think you’ll like them. The Sky will be coming next week too.
The ents planner for the term is pretty much finalised, with an even better treat for Friday nights...
So Laurie and I found ourselves re-arranging furniture last night, then again.. then again.. Fun times will be had in finding the best layout!!
The beer arrives next week. I’m looking forward to the first pint :)
More updates to follow, but I'm not uploading any photos yet, and the windows are staying blocked out.
Tickets go on sale soon for the opening night soon.
