York Minster Archives require volunteers
York Minster Archives is looking for a volunteer to assist the Archivist with the provision of service to the public, including retrieving records and other documents from storage for researchers, supervising and assisting researchers in the Archives and Manuscripts Reading Area and the administration of imaging and image licensing requests. You will need to have good attention to detail, communication and interpersonal skills, administrative skills and be computer literate.
The ideal volunteer would be able to commit to two afternoons per week, from 1.30 to 5.00, (preferably Tuesday and Friday) for one year. Training would be given. Please reply before June 30th with your CV and a covering letter to:
