Our last blog of RAG love...
Dear all,
I can't believe that this is the last blog you will be receiving from us, Helen and Zoe, your RAG officers. Tomorrow we hand over to the newly-elected James and Jonathan and so we wish them all the very best with it. So here are the few last things we will tell you about before we leave you in peace
RAG committee elections
That's right. YOU can become a member of the RAG committee this year! RAG are having elections for committee positions in week 1 of next term. There will be more information coming your way, but do have a think about what you might want to do on the fun, sociable, rewarding, friendly, inclusive and wonderful rag committee next year. Don't miss out. Week 1.
On another note, Krisha Yellappa (RAG ordinary member) is a little bit crazy and is running the London Marathon in April. He needs to raise a huuuge load of money for the fantastic charity Kidscape. Please, please, dig deep and donate as much as you can to show your support for Krish. You can donate online at http://www.virginmoneygiving.com/krish all the cool kids are doing it...
You can also donate online to RAG's core charities anytime at www.charitygiving.org/yusurag . This year we are supporting: St. Leonard's Hospice, The Island, Marie Curie Cancer Care, Invisible Children, Water Aid and YUSU Volunteering.
The main FUSION show may be over, but the fundraising certainly isn't. Thank you so much to the fusion rag fundraisers for all of their efforts, and look out for more coming your way...
WOODSTOCK
is fast approaching and this year it is going to be epic. If you want to get involved in the organisation, or just have any ideas about things to try this year, please do email Jenni and Sam at ragwoodstock@yusu.org.
Finally, we would like to say a final goodbye and wish you all well in rag and beyond! Thank you to everyone who has got involved in rag in one way or another, and especially to those who have worked really hard to make rag fantastic. It is thanks to you all that rag has been such fun, and such a success this year. It really has been such a pleasure being your rag officers this year, and we hope everyone has a lovely Easter
