-Regarding campaigning in the Courtyard - there should be no flyering or posters and any worn campaign materials e.g. t-shirts, costumes etc should be covered up
- Please ensure that anyone supporting you or wanting to help you knows about the campaign rules especially those concerning mailing lists, people may think they are helping you out by using them but actually it can have a detrimental effect on you campaign.
- Groups and events on Facebook specifically for the elections are fine, they have to be opt in/out and have to be for the purposes of campaigning so not a birthday event for example, or a society group.
- There have been a number of queries about posters: we are re-confirming with the University that the message about elections is filtering down to the porters and cleaning services as concerns have been raised that some colleges are not aware of it. A couple of colleges have asked us to reiterate not "postering" on fire exits this will result in the immediate removal of your poster which I am sure no one wants. Equally space such as the balcony around central hall are out of bounds on the grounds of being outside and putting posters there being a safety issue.
