Coming up in RAG...

FUSION
you hopefully know, RAG and FUSION have been working closely together to raise lots of money for charity this year. The FUSION show 2010 is finally here and returns to Central Hall for two nights only of sensational dance, music and fashion. This year we bring you Fusion telling tales, a wonderfully dark and magical twist on your favourite stories. Be prepared to take a trip to another world and who knows who you might meet while you’re there! Don’t miss out on the most spectacular show of 2010!

***FUSION AFTER-PARTY***
The hotly anticipated Fusion afterparty will take place at Judges Lodgings this year and with the telling tales theme continuing into the early hours it promises to be a magical night! ALL PROCEEDS FROM THIS EVENT GO TO THE CORE CHARITIES, and the Fusion and Rag teams would like to invite everyone to come and celebrate with us and raise lots of money in the process! Drinks deals include flavoured sambuca shots (apple, orange, mango, raspberry, cinnamon and banana) for 2 pounds and a range of Fusion cocktails. Tickets last year were like fairy dust they sold out so quickly, numbers are limited so make sure that you get one fast to avoid disappointment! Tickets are available online at, http://www.yusu.org/event/2621, in Yourshop or on Vanbrugh Stalls in week 8, between 12-2. Pre-order some Fusion fizz by emailing Anna or Holly (ragents@yusu.org) for 12 in advance or 13 on the night.
RAG RAID TO HARROGATE!
Avoid those end of term blues this term and on Saturday week 9 why not take a trip to Harrogate with RAG?! We're holding a RAG raid to raise money for The Meningitis Research Foundation http://www.meningitis.org/ We will be meeting on campus at the YUSU offices at 9am and all going to catch a train together. The train is only £4.50 with rail card! Time slots will be allocated on the day for individuals or pairs to do a few hours at a time and go off and see the sights of Harrogate in between. Please come along and show your support to a very worthy cause. There are lots of voting opportunities for you as students coming around the corner. Can I please encourage you all to take some time to vote for who you think the RAG officers should be as well as every other officer position. Have your say!
