Need a CV boost?
As part of YUSU Employability week, YUSU Volunteering will be holding a training on how to put your volunteering experience effectively into your CV.
The volunteering experience YOU have gained whilst being at York WILL help you get a job - no matter how unrelated the field is. We'll be covering all kinds of volunteering experience and all kinds of job fields.
So, want to know how Tea and Coffee club will help you in teaching? Want to know how working with kids will help you in business? Come along to our short session in D056, Thursday week 6 (18th February) 6.30pm to find out!
In week 8, YUSU Volunteering will be holding another Volunteering fair (2nd March, James Hall, 10.30am - 3.30pm) so if you still need a little something to boost your CV then come along and sign up to an opportunity!
Also, look out for information on YOUR college challenge - which will be coming up in the next few weeks!
