THE PARADE AND RAG GOES TO HOLYWOOD
I hope you are excited... The RAG parade is fast approaching! The theme is The Movies, and each college has been designated a movie genre.Tonight each college has planned pre-parade events:
***TONIGHT - PRE-PARADE:!
Alcuin: Speed dating in the bar and final costume making from 7.30pm in the senior common room.
Derwent: Join your Derwent RAG reps at 8pm in Derwent Bar for a few hours in the JCR to watch some movies and help put together some Western costumes.
Langwith: A film night with some sugary goodness to sweeten you up, and donate £2 to RAG. You will be dressing up as oopma loompas tomorrow!
James: James will be screening The Incredibles - Free pizza provided!
Goodricke: Will be showing the Rambo films along with some banner making. Toast and face paints tomorrow before dressing up in your adventure gear and parading.
Vanbrugh: 6pm in the JCR, Vanbrugh will be having a costume making session - free light sabers for your star wars theme!
Halifax: Will be kitted out in horror themed clothes tomorrow
Wentworth: Will be sporty for the parade tomorrow!
***PARADE!
On saturday 13th February, hundreds of students will gather in York city centre for one of the most memorable events of the year...RAG PARADE 2010!!! Saturday Week Five, 12.30-4.00 PM, town is the place to be... With costumes, face-painting, live performances, and plenty of collecting buckets, this carnival-like atmosphere will culminate in a spectacular parade through York’s busiest streets. Our stage on Parliament Street will host live entertainments throughout the day as well as being the start and end point of the parade. Don't miss out!
Valentine's day roses will be on sale all day and night for a bargainous £2.

***RAG GOES TO THE MOVIES!
After the parade, RAG celebrates the end of RAG week by going out with a bang! This RAG Week RAG rolls out the red carpet and invites you to join the stars in the glitz and glamour of hollywood. Come down to the Courtyard for a glitzy movie-themed night of fun! But be sure to get your tickets early, they’re hotter than an Oscar award! With two rooms of music, four movie themed areas, a wild west BUCKING BRONCO, a horror cocktail fountain, drinks deals and cinema-esque food there's no better way to end rag week. all this for just £3.50 (4.50 o.t.d). Tickets available online and from your college rag reps. A sell-out event last year, don't be the ones feeling disappointed!
