B to the A to the R I like it.
The last week has flown by! Since the last update, the following has taken shape..
AUDIO VISUAL
All the cabling has gone in for the:
- Sound System
- Lighting System
- TV System
Rigging points have gone up in the ceiling for all of the above to..
CHIMNEY BREAST
The frame has gone in, with the mounting points going in for the TV that is housed on it
CEILING
Most of the ceiling is up! The final cabling items are going in and then it'll be sealed off, ready for plastering and other work to begin!
ELECTRICAL
The new electrical system is going in, so cables all over for the new lighting fittings, etc.
FLOORING
There is a wooden flooring going down all over to start to level it all, before the actual flooring goes down near the end of the project. We're getting there!
The old cellar flooring is being dug up as I type, as that forms part of the new dance floor!
CELLAR
The cellar walling is being created and we've had some companies come and inspect ready to install the new cooling system.. The beer companies have been and organised their routes to the bar - exciting times!
BAR
We've still got to get rid of the old 'lift hoist' to the senior common room, and then the work can fully commence on building the new bar - so not long to go, it should begin next week!
LOUNGE AREA
The horrid carpet is gone and it's looking a nicer open space! The ceiling looks 500% better than the old one! Some nice blinds are going in there too by the end of the project.
OUTSIDE
The outside area is now boarded off, and work will begin very soon! There's lots of digging, electrical work and the likes to really transform the area into a beautiful courtyard!
