Ride of the Roses

York to Lancaster
8th-9th March
2 days, 110 miles

We're cycling to Lancaster to raise money for the Yorkshire Air Ambulance. If you are up for a challenge then this is a great opportunity to do something different and raise money for a very worthy cause.

You don't need to have any experience of cycling long distances, just determination and a sense of adventure. Let's go conquer Lancaster before going back to win Roses in May!

We're setting off on Saturday morning and cycling around 75 miles to Malham in the Yorkshire dales, where we'll be staying overnight in a bunk barn with a pub just down the road for a decent meal and a drink.

Then on day 2 we'll finish the slightly shorter second leg and make it to Lancaster in time for a quick drink and something to eat, before heading back to York (in cars this time!)

There are a limited number of places on this trip, so for more details or to register your interest, email Jo at au@yusu.org
