Nightline
Nightline is a confidential listening and information service run by students for students. It is open from 8pm until 8am, making it perfect for if you need to talk to someone at night, when all of the other services are closed.
Nightline do not judge, and are there to provide space for you to talk about anything that’s affecting you, as well as offering a wide range of information on other services, whether campus-based, in town or nationally. This can include information on dealing with stress, time management, counselling services, or even specific helplines for if you are worried about a friend of yours, as well as takeaway numbers.
As well as this, they also have a broad range of sexual health supplies, from condoms to lube and dental dams. You can also pick up pregnancy tests and information about sexual health.
You can call into their flat in Wentworth E block (near Biology), call them free on 01904 32 3735, email them on nightmail@yusu.org or contact them via instant messenger through their website.
